ABOUT ISB

International School of Bremen (ISB) offers an English-language education from Kindergarten to Grade 12, leading to examinations with the University of Cambridge International General Certificate of Education (IGCSE) and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). The ISB is an IB World School. 

The School is recognised by the International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO) and offers the IB Diploma Programme in Grades 11 and 12. More information here.

As a Cambridge Examination Centre, the School is also able to offer the International General Certificate of Education (IGCSE) to students in Grades 8, 9 and 10. More information here.

Our Early Learning Centre and Elementary Section follow the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) while our Grade 6 and 7 students pursue the International Middle Years Curriculum (IMYC).

The ISB is also a STEM School, having been the first International School in Germany to have been awarded 'MINT-EC Partner School' status by MINT-EC das nationale Excellence-Schulnetzwerk

MEMBERSHIP & ACCREDITATION

The School is a member of the Council of International Schools (CIS), the European Council of International Schools (ECIS) and the Association of German International Schools (AGIS).

The School is accredited by the (Centre for British Teachers-UK) CfBT Education Trust and the State of Bremen, Germany.

The School is a recognised examination centre for IGCSE through Cambridge International Examinations (CIE), the International Baccalaureate Diploma through the International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO) and for United States college entrance examinations (SATs) through the CollegeBoard (CEEB).
