The International School of Bremen was awarded the MINT-EC status in 2015. ISB is the only international school in Germany and one among 3 schools in the State of Bremen to be awarded the gold status and be part of this prestigious network that is supervised by the KMK (Kultusmisterkonferenz).

BEFORE THE OUTBREAK OF THE CORONAVIRUS AND NATIONWIDE CLOSURE OF SCHOOLS, THE ISB ENSURED THAT STUDENTS & TEACHERS AT THE ISB COULD WORK WITH MODERN TECHNOLOGY.

Almost all classrooms are equipped with SmartBoards; laptops and other electronic devices are always available to the children. Furthermore, the entire ISB community - whether students, parents, teachers, school management or administration - is digitally networked.

These forward-looking measures enabled us to quickly and smoothly transition from classroom teaching to digital learning while maintaining a full-time timetable. This enabled us to ensure that no students were left behind, even in these special times.
