At the International School of Bremen, we are excited to introduce a new initiative that further embraces community involvement and support. Our school thrives on the excellence of our educational programs and the strong community spirit. While it’s widely recognized that we operate through various funding sources, the critical role of smaller, regular donations might be less known. Our sponsorship model, especially, shows how every contribution, regardless of size, is crucial.
The funding of ISB relies on three main pillars: state subsidies, tuition fees, and the increasingly crucial donations. “In recent years, we've seen a worrying decline in donations,” To address this, we are looking for the community to invest in the school in either time or money

These contributions enable us to offer additional experiences for our students.
One of the exciting programmes will launch soon is an appeal to raise funds for a new outdoor multi use all weather surface at the back of the School.

Our school has successfully hosted fundraising campaigns and events in the past, which have significantly supported our various needs, from facility upgrades to organising popular annual events. “It’s essential to occasionally remind our community of the importance of these contributions,” comments Lena Groß, optimistic about engaging more families in these efforts.
We are keen on not just financial contributions but also on volunteering. Parents can donate their time, expertise, or financial resources, each making a substantial impact on our community’s strength and our students’ success.
